Shipping and Return Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Lost River Press Company. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our shipping and return policy.
Order Processing
Please allow 1-2 business days to process your order. A shipping notification email will be sent to you, once your order is on the way.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Regions
Orders are generally shipped within 1-2 business day. Lost River Press publications will ship to the USA and Canada. All other books, will ship to the United States only.
Lost River Press ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We offer free ground shipping for orders above $59.
International Shipping Rates and Estimates
We offer international shipping to Canada. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Lost River Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
Returns
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at Hello@lostriver-press.com. With your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work toward a satisfactory solution.
Lost River Press is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
